National Period Day 2019 Rally

In collaboration with PERIOD., The Homegirl Project co-hosted the NYC Rally on October 19, 2019. We raised awareness of the intersectionality of gender equity and race, advocating for our mission of empowering WOC.

Youth Poetry Slam

In collaboration with Giffords Courage, The Homegirl Project hosted a Slam Poetry Session in San Francisco on October 27, 2019. The event amplified the powerful youth voices impacted by gun violence.
